Thoughts

I tried to listen 
To my heart,
But I couldn't                      
Hear her thoughts.
Her words unpenned
From the line
And scattered.

I wasn't able
To help her
Gather them,
 Strewn about
 In disarray.
 So we wait
 In silence.
